Here are a couple more I have on tap for that night (even though I don't get in until 9:30 or something ridiculous like that).
8:30 p.m. The Besnard Lakes, Stubbs
9:30 p.m. The Soft Pack, Stubbs
11:30 p.m. Band of Horses, Stubbs
Midnight Imaad Wasif, Habana Calle 6
Midnight Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, Maggie Mae's Gibson Room
My fave wednesday band name: We Were Promised Jetpacks.
Fave Thursday band name by far: Gringo Star.
Where you gonna watch the Longhorns? Big Sam's Funky Nation at Opal's sounds like fun; I figure I could watch half an hour and then step inside for the game, but that means passing up some music. It'd be better if I had someplace where I could hear music and see a TV.
