Last year it was 3 Japanese Girls in Bikini's playing trombones.
This year it's one lovely Swiss Miss playing funk and blues on an Alpenhorn.
For those that don't know, the Alpenhorn is a giant wooden horn played in the mountains of Switzerland. The horn is usually reserved for old Swiss men in Liederhosen at those yodel fests that are more for beer drinking than music appreciation.
The Miss in question is Eliana Burki and is not only easy on the eyes but claims to be the only Alpenhorn player to get world wide attention. I'm must admit I'm a bit skeptical but definitely curious to check it out.
Listen to the funky gooves on her website to become a believer!
Elina Burki Band plays at the Scoot Inn on Wednesday, March 17 at 10 PM, Right before the Nuclear Polka of Brave Combo.

Sadly, it looks like she's been replaced by Pong. They're good and all, but no alpenhorn...
